… we know it’s tricky!  To us huayruro seeds have been a constant reminder of good fortune. Whether it was gifted to us in the form of jewelry, keychains or home ware, the red and black seed can always be found around our homes.

The idea to include the huayruro seed in our products (and in our logo!) came to us after noticing our friends´ interest in the seed and the meaning behind it.
The huayruro tree grows in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. Locals collect the seeds that fall from the tree and use them to create jewelry for their own family. The red and black seed is believed to bring good luck, positive energy and happiness to its owner and we hope that is the case with all of our future customers!
As is the case with any natural product, the seed should not be swallowed or chewed as some believe it has some dangerous properties if ingested.

Times are a Changing

Things are changing. Besides the obvious going on around us, the underlying changes have really hit me these past couple of months (maybe why we’ve been very quiet as a brand). I’m normally one who is evasive to change, it’s hard and takes time, but this change has been welcomed. I actually caught myself thinking, daph.’s chapter 2 is starting.
